New Kids on the Block

At the start of the second semester, Legacy Christian Academy gained some new students!

Ava Tedtaotao, a junior, came from Frontier High School where she’d been doing virtual learning. Ava says she enjoys being able to come to school on campus but she also likes the homeschool days. She has an older brother who goes to college in Oregon. Mrs. Cowan vouches for her incredible soccer skills. She was nervous on her first day but has since enjoyed her time here at legacy. We’re happy to have you Ava!

There’s also a new freshman, Lacey Fachin. She also came from Frontier though she didn’t have the pleasure of getting to know Ava. An interesting fact about Lacey is that she shows sheep at various fairs. Her favorite thing about Legacy so far is the kindness of the students and teachers. She was nervous on her first day but says, “It turned out to be great!”

There are two new girls in the seventh grade class as well and they actually know each other from when they went to Heritage Christian! Their names are Chloee Allison and Gabriella Bartolotti and they’re both super sweet. They’re enjoying their classes and Gabby said she liked science where they’re learning about the heart. Chloee enjoys roller skating in her free time, while Gabby is more artistic. They weren’t even nervous on their first day!
