Everyone wants to do some traveling during their life or simply wants to get away from life for a weekend. The members of the class are no exception to this. Hear about their favorite destinations—and where they would like to go given the opportunity.

Episode 2 - An Interview with Mr. Sharrer

The first interview of Season 4 is none other than the teacher of Legacy’s Podcasting and Storytelling class - Alan Sharrer. You’ll learn a lot about this gentleman from South Carolina as the conversation ranges from favorites to faith--and more.

Episode 5 - The Students Introduce Themselves

In this episode, Mr. Sharrer sits down with four members of the class (Josh, Jericho, Kyndal, and Hannah) and gives them an opportunity to introduce themselves to the world. Hear what they have to say!

Episode 3 - The Class Shares Favorite Christmas Films

In this episode, the class has a lively discussion about Christmas films of the past and present. They don’t always agree, so it means the episode is definitely worth listening to!

Episode 6 - The Students Interview an LCA Graduate

In this episode, the class gets to interview a recent graduate of Legacy--Penelope Campbell, who is currently attending Hillsdale College in Michigan. Find out what her first semester was like, how college differs from high school, and how her faith has helped her along the way.

Episode 1 - Board Spotlight - Mrs. Barrie Whitten

The third season of Listen to Our Roar features a number of interviews with various members of Legacy. The first person to be interviewed is none other than Mrs. Barrie Whitten, one of the members of Legacy’s Board of Directors.

In this edition of the podcast, the staff takes time to interview Legacy’s Registrar and Student Activities Coordinator, Krissy Blakley. You'll get to hear her story of faith in Christ, what drives her every day, and the many roles she plays at the school. Perhaps she'll even call on her theatre background for an impression . . .

Episode 1 - Something New, Something Blue

For the second season of Listen to Our Roar, we've decided to keep the interviews while adding current articles of interest to Legacy students. In this episode, the students interview new teacher Jennifer Blue, give an update on the first week of school, talk about a new booster program for the school, check in on the girls' volleyball teams, and offer an editorial about dress codes.

Episode 2 — Homecoming and a Student Spotlight

In this episode, the staff covers a number of events in the life of Legacy -- the induction of our newest National Honor Society members as well as recent Homecoming activities. Dowen reveals five unique facts guaranteed to make you think, and Mr. Sharrer introduces Mark in our first Student Spotlight interview. You'll definitely want to hear their discussion!

Episode 3 — It’s All Business at Thanksgiving

In this edition of the podcast, the staff provides information on upcoming House events, basketball registration dates, bees, five interesting facts, and an interview with Mr. Sharrer and our 6th grade business class. Stay for the end as Anne shares a Thanksgiving story you likely haven't heard before!

Episode 4 - Christmas: Plain and Simple

Christmas is a great time to reflect on the past year, but it’s also the right time to remember Jesus’ birth. Amidst stories about customs in other countries, some Christmas facts, and LCA news, Lilly is interviewed for our Student Spotlight.

Next up, the class decided to ask some questions to our Director of Academic Success/Student Services, Mr. Tom Vigo. He had a lot of things to say that made everyone think!

It’s important for the graduates to be able to talk a little bit about their time at Legacy, so the class gave them some time to do just that.

In the final installment for Season 1, the class was treated to a surprise—the Head of LCA, Mrs. Cowan! She shared quite a bit about Legacy, its creation, and where she feels the school will be in a decade. Spoiler warning on the latter: it’s a good place!
