The Legacy Lions’ volleyball season of 2020 was one to be remembered.  All practices and games were held on campus due to Covid restrictions. In addition, because Legacy’s team was unable to compete against other schools, they were separated into Blue and Grey teams. These teams were coached by Krissy Blakley and Kary Atkinson, respectively.
The teams practiced each Tuesday and competed against each other throughout November. There were fans in attendance (socially distanced, of course) who cheered on the players and watched their weekly improvement.  Most of the matches were extremely close pointwise, showcasing the match skills of both teams. Numerous rallies pumped up the fans and both teams were victorious during the abbreviated season.
The players had a fantastic time practicing and competing during the season. Freshman Annie Przybylski states, "Our coaches [were] amazing; our teams played really well. All of our [rallies] were supreme."
Junior Cami Yokoyama added, "All the volleyball girls did really good. I think that it was a really hard season. Everyone did really good and I'm proud of all the girls!"
Hannah Trammell, a senior, did a fantastic job in her final year on the team and ended her career at Legacy on a high note. states, "I got my jump serve in! . . . We [the Blue team] got the last game! I loved it!"
Congratulations to each of the players on a season that was unlike any other!
